We are looking for a Technical Author with a focus on illustrations for a team within Safety & Logistics Support, where technical publications are a central area of expertise. In this role, you will work closely with the business to create visually and linguistically clear materials that support usage, maintenance, and repair.

You thrive in a technical context, are analytical, and collaborate smoothly with various stakeholders. You take responsibility for your deliveries, drive your work forward, and take initiative when needed.

• Create and update technical illustrations for technical documentation
• Develop materials that support maintenance and repair instructions
• Contribute to instructions related to software usage
• Collaborate with internal contacts to ensure accurate and useful documentation
• Work in XML/CMS-based tools for content production and management

• Degree in a relevant field
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English (documentation and contacts are conducted in both languages)
• 2-4 years of work experience as an illustrator

• Experience working within Saab
• Experience with illustrations related to maintenance/repair instructions
• Experience with instructions for software usage
• Experience with UPTIME 4 or equivalent tools (XML/CMS)
• Knowledge of S1000D
• Experience with Photoshop
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator
